Hi, I’m Dmitrijs.

Seventeen years ago, that moment became the starting point of my journey into photography.

For over a decade now, I’ve been exploring and capturing one of the most breathtaking regions on Earth: Ireland’s west coast. This remarkable stretch – known as the Wild Atlantic Way – runs for over 1,600 miles (2,500 kilometres), winding through towering cliffs, secret coves, rolling hills, calm lakes, ancient castles, villages, towns, ever-changing beaches, and timeless seascapes. Here, every stone carries the scars of countless storms, every tide reshapes the coastline, and every sunset ignites the horizon in deep violets and fiery oranges.

These are fleeting moments – and photography is the only way to preserve them.

I often return to the same locations again and again, waiting patiently for just the right light, weather, and mood to capture nature’s emotion. And when that moment comes, I transform it into fine art, hoping to reflect the true essence of the Atlantic. Every image I create is meant to be more than just a photograph – it is a window into a world of magic.

In 2022, I decided to turn this long-time passion into something more.

That moment gave birth to West Coast Photography – an independent brand built around an honest, personal, and artistic vision of Ireland’s western edge.
